About The program

“When learning is purposeful, creativity blossoms. When creativity blossoms, thinking emanates. When thinking emanates, knowledge is fully lit. When knowledge is lit, economy flourishes.” – A.P.J. Abdul Kalam

Costume design and fashion is the art of applying design, aesthetics, clothing construction and natural beauty to clothing and its accessories. It is influenced by culture and different trends, and has varied over time and place. “A fashion designer creates clothing, including dresses, suits, pants, skirts and accessories like shoes and handbags for customers. He or she can specialize in clothing, accessory, or jewellery design, grooming or may work in more than one of these areas.”

Fashion is a form of self-expression and autonomy at a particular period and place and in a specific context, of clothing, footwear, lifestyle, accessories, makeup, hairstyle, and body posture.
