Introduction


B.Sc Visual Communication, popularly known as B.Sc Viscom is an undergraduate degree course offered in the field of mass communication. Visual Communication at SMS College of Arts and Science is a medium to transmit ideas and information using imagery and symbols. This 3-year Bachelor’s degree can be pursued after completing HSC or equivalent from a recognized board. The programme is divided into 3 years and six semesters, usually. Students get to learn about films, graphic editing, writing, photography, design, human communication, acting, media trends, etc.

With the Indian youth inclining towards professional degree courses, Journalism and Mass Communication fields have become a great attraction for students. With this popularity, B.Sc. Visual Communication has also become a great preference for students.

3 years / Semester Wise Exam.
Candidates should Passed in +2 with minimum 50% marks or equivalent, and candidates should be at least 17 years of         age at the time of admission and the upper age limit is 25 years in most of the educational institutions.
