NSS – Free Medical Camp

A 5 Day Free Medical Camp was jointly organized by the NSS Unit of SMS College of Arts and Science and Cheran College of Physiotherapy at Kallipalayam Village. Over a hundred people participated in the camp and benefited from it. The camp was presided over by Dr. E. Selvarani, Dean – Cheran Institute of Health Sciences, Dr. V. Karthik, Principal – Cheran College of Physiotherapy, and Dr. R. Balakrishnan, Vice Principal – SMS College of Arts and Science. The medical camp was inaugurated by Mrs. Rajalakshmi, President of Pooluvapatti Municipality, and Mrs. Mala, Executive Officer of Pooluvapatti Municipality. The camp was coordinated by Dr. M. Muthukrishnan, Professor and NSS Program Officer, Cheran College of Physiotherapy, Dr. V. Sasikumar, Assistant Professor and NSS Program Officer, SMS College of Arts and Science, and Dr. A. Arul, Assistant Professor.
