About the Course

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) is an undergraduate course started in the academic year 2000-2001 at SMS College of Arts and Science, with the prime aim of providing education in the commerce field where students can learn the latest trends in business and commerce. The faculty team of Department of Commerce at SMSCAS guides students in every step by motivating them to constantly upgrade their own skill through various teaching pedagogy and graduate them as industry fit and ensure the students to succeed in life through value based education and lifelong learning process.


Course Objectives

The high demand for commerce graduates in the entire job sector has initiated SMSCAS to establish BCOM in the year 2000. Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) is a course that trains students for working in innumerable fields such as marketing, banking, public accounting, policy planning, consultancy, investment, etc. Students can also choose to pursue other courses of higher education after completing B.Com. B.Com graduates can endure huge opportunities in Corporate Sector, Banking Sector, Insurance Sector, BPO, Bank, Human Resource, Business Consultancy, Investment Banking, Auditing, Financial Analysis, Teaching Field and IT Sectors.
